Hi I’m Chris Gibson and I’d like to thank you for visiting our site and share with you a quick background on myself and Chris Gibson Homes.

After graduating from school I married my high school sweet heart Amy and immediately went to work in the motorcycle business. I’d always ridden and loved motorcycles and this was a fun and exciting business for me to be in. This is where I met my longtime friend Rod Stuckey and his father Ted who would later become my business partners.

In the evenings after leaving the dealership (and on the weekends) with Amy’s help I began buying Ugly Duckling houses and transforming those houses into homes. Once I discovered the gratification and fulfillment in seeing the lumber and materials take on a personality all it’s on, I was hooked. This excitement led me to building new homes as well, and I then became consumed with transforming architectural plans into real homes resulting in happy home owners.

This passion eventually led me to leave the motorcycle business and pursue building full time. Since then I’ve built new homes in Fayette, Coweta, Henry, Fulton, and Lamar counties and am proud to have carefully navigated through the recession and be here to stand behind the product that we built and provide the super important “service after the sale.”

Our goal here at Chris Gibson Homes is to do things a little different than the traditional builder. We understand that buying a home is one of the most important decisions you’ll ever make, and therefore it should be FUN and Exciting! Here you will not find any crotchety old “my way or the highway” attitudes but you will find a team who strives to build you the house of your dreams and make the experience one that you will enjoy and remember for a lifetime!
